A TRIP WITH BORIA KIY

BORIA is a type of performing art whch is very very very well-known in Penang...
AS a penangnite~ seriously, i don't noe anything about boria except da name of it...

FACT--- I JOINED BORIA dance IN college~
nah~ v did compete among college yesterday


PROCESS--- as a boria dancer... we were called to practice everyday night from 9 to N/A... the worst training i'd been undergo was from 8.30pm to 3.00am in the morning...
well, i was the only chinese in this dance... there is another chinese in d dance group by the name of "Ada"... Bt we were both placed in different dance... now i realise how terrible my malay is~ argg... it's abit hard for me to communicate with them using malay...bt i feel better after few dayz.... it proves "practice makes perfect"

DURING D COMPETITION--- i were asked to wear tudung for the sake of molding~ it's my very first tried... initially i feel joyful as it's fun to act like a malay...
when i finish styling myself... i got this "amboi budak ni, macam melayu la... tapi jangan cakap tau~ ". Haha...




SERIOUSLY I LOOK LIKE A GHOST WITH THIS SUPER THICK MAKEUP...
they'd used 5 min to apply foundation

AFTER few weeks of tiring prac.... i finally can get a good sleep....although we din win... bt i do gained alot.... i noe better about malay's culture now... i guess this my boost my future.. hopefully
